Hawaii Realtors to host first statewide convention in eight years – Pacific Business News – The Business Journals

Hawaii Realtors, a statewide trade organization for the real estate industry, will host its first convention in eight years.
About 600 industry professionals are expected to attend the convention, which will be held Sept. 15-16 at the Sheraton Waikiki, officials with the organization said in an announcement.
There will be local and national expert speakers, breakout sessions, industry panels, networking, a trade show and a concert featuring Josh Tatofi.
Featured speakers include the 2022 president of Hawaii Realtors, Kelly Liberatore; author, leaderships consultant and TV host Rusty Komori; and athlete, speaker, author and coach Mark Black.
“We invite Hawaii Realtors and other industry professionals to this statewide convention, which will cover a wide array of timely local and national topics in real estate,” Liberatore said in a statement. “In the past several years, Hawaii real estate professionals have experienced numerous changes. We have designed this event to help them navigate the industry in the years to come.”
In an email to Pacific Business News, organization officials said Hawaii Realtors alternates between traveling to meet members for “roadshows” across the Islands and hosting conventions where members from across the state can gather.
Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, the group had to modify its member outreach by postponing the convention and hosting a virtual statewide conference.
“[The] convention is special because it brings members together for professional development and networking,” officials said. “Since our state is separated by islands, it’s a rare opportunity for Realtors to gather. Industry professionals who attend will be able to build their professional network and get the latest information on topics crucial to successful business, such as tax issues, diversity and inclusion, property management, economic insights, media ethics, building relationships and service culture, and more.”
Early bird registration, which is available until June 30, is $299. For more information or tickets, visit HawaiiRealtors.com/Convention.
