Gabriel Jesús hit four goals while Rodri also found the net in the win over Watford.

Manchester City were far too good for Watford, storming to a 5-1 home win to remain top of the Premier League prior to welcoming Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final first leg (Tuesday, 9:00pm CET). Gabriel Jesús was the star of the show, hitting an incredible four goals, while Rodri completed the rout.

Guardiola's team dominated the game from start to finish, proving far superior to a Watford side who could do little to stop them. With 3 minutes gone, Manchester City went ahead when Gabriel Jesús turned in a Zinchenko cross. The Brazilian forward then got the second with 22 minutes on the clock, before Rodri made it three eleven minutes later, responding to Kamara's strike with 27 on the clock.

The half-time break came around with the scores at 3-1, before Gabriel Jesús converted from the spot to notch the hosts' fourth goal after the restart. Then, on 52 minutes, Gabriel Jesús took advantage of some sublime individual play by Kevin de Bruyne to make it 5-1 and complete his personal four-goal haul.
