Kitchen Table hosting winner dinner of northern Italy – Times Union

Jonathan Stewart will be the guest sommelier for a dinner featuring food and wine from northern Italy starting at 6 p.m. April 26, 2022, at The Kitchen Table in Albany.
ALBANY — Jonathan Stewart, a wine salesman who is former sommelier at the Wine Bar and Bistro in Albany and 15 Church in Saratoga Springs, will be the guest somm for a dinner featuring wine and food from northern Italy, scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at The Kitchen Table restaurant.
The menu, by the restaurant’s executive chef, Ian Brower, pairs six courses with six wines selected by Stewart, among them Vermentino Colli di Luni, Giacomelli “Pianacce” 2019 (scallop crudo), Sangiovese Riserva, Tre Monti “Petrignone” 2018 (porchetta) and Barolo, Mauro Veglio 2017 (rabbit raviolo).
The price is $130 per person, plus tax and tip, and advance purchase is required, via online tickets or by calling 518-694-0520.
