Apr. 26—Wolfcamp Catalogue, a solo exhibition of Amy Kim's new work, will have an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Kim is a lecturer and director of the Nancy Fyfe Cardozier Gallery. The show is a component of the UTPB Geoscience Symposium and the exhibition will take place in the Wolfcamp Exhibition Trailer outside the main entrance of the UTPB Engineering Building, 1310 N. FM 1788 in Midland.
This exhibition was sponsored by UTPB Geosicence, College of Arts and Sciences, and UTPB Office of Research and Sponsored Projects. Kevin Chua (PhD), associate professor of art history at Texas Tech University, curated the exhibition.
The fifth annual Geoscience Symposium will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday in the Henry Lecture Hall on the first floor of the UTPB Engineering Building.
Keynote speakers are David Cannon, senior vice president at Diamondback Energy and Denise Cox, president of Storm Energy.
