Pine River Library to host ocean-themed summer learning program – The Durango Herald

Pine River Library will host “Ocean of Possibilities,” the ocean-themed summer learning program in June and July.
The two-month program will feature live animal visits, weekly programs for all ages and two outdoor movies. There will be storytimes for the youngest participants, twice weekly STEAM programs for kids, and weekly movies and crafts for teens. Adult events include soapmaking, a mindful parenting class, a campfire author talk and more.
The library will host a kickoff event for the program from 5 to 6:30 p.m. June 3 in the library park. There will be games and activities, and anyone who registers for the program will get a free shark tooth. Registration is also available at the library starting May 14.
