2022 New York Giants Schedule – Giants.com

Head coach Brian Daboll will make his MetLife Stadium debut in Week 2 when the Giants host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, Sept. 18 at 1 p.m. They open the 2022 season on the road against the Tennessee Titans.
The Giants will be hosting the Panthers for the second straight season. On Oct. 24, 2021, the defense limited Carolina to 173 yards and 11 first downs in a 25-3 Giants victory. Graham Gano kicked three field goals against his former team. The victory ended the Giants’ three-game losing streak in the series after Carolina victories in 2013, 2015 and 2018.

The Giants last defeated Carolina on Sept. 20, 2012, a 36-7 triumph on a Thursday night in Charlotte. Their most important victory in the series was a 34-28 overtime triumph in Giants Stadium on Dec. 21, 2008, when the Giants clinched home field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs. In that game, the Giants rushed for 301 yards, the fifth-highest total in franchise history.
