The Providence College basketball programs have seen a lot of wins over the years.
Some of the people highly responsible for those victories returned to Friartown Thursday.
The Friends of Friar Basketball hosting a legendary “Coaches’ Roundtable”
Rick Pitino and Billy Donovan, who brought the Friars to the Final Four as head coach and point guard respectively, represented the 1987 team.
Rick Barnes zoomed into the event after a positive COVID test.
Also on hand: Pete Gillen, Tim Welsh, and current head coach Ed Cooley.
The event was emceed by PC basketball Hall of Famer and ESPN commentator and analyst Doris Burke.
