Marbury High to Host 2nd Annual Camellia Marching Band Festival this Saturday, September 24 – Elmore Autauga News

Marbury High School will host its 2nd Annual Camellia Marching Band Festival on Saturday, September 24th with performances beginning at 9:00 AM.  The festival will be held on the school’s campus, located at 2360 US Hwy 31, Deatsville.  This event will have a 3-judge panel for band adjudication and an educational clinic following each band’s performance.  There will also be a percussion judge, a majorette/dance judge, a colorguard judge and a drum major judge.  Trophies will be awarded for bands, percussion, color guard, drum major, dance, and majorette who receive superior ratings.
“We’re looking forward to an amazing day of music! This year’s Camellia Marching Band Festival hosted by Marbury High School is going to be awesome!” says Marbury’s Band Director, Mr. Brett Johnson. “Swing by Marbury High on September 24th to check out some of these wonderful marching bands!”
Along with the Marbury High School Northstar Marching Band, Huntingdon College Marching Scarlet and Grey will perform in exhibition.
The performances will be split into three sessions:

The gate fee for the festival is $5 per person and must be purchased on GoFan.  Children ages 5 and under are admitted free.  There is no cost for parking.  Concessions will be available.  For more information, visit marburynorthstars.org/camellia-marching-festival.
