One of Louisville’s most iconic museums is looking to “pitch” in on the scares this Halloween.
For the seventh year, Louisville Slugger Museum is hosting its “Home Run Halloween” event on Saturday, Oct. 22.
The spooky event features candy handouts, balloon artists, ghost stories, mini-bat decorating and mini-pumpkins to take home.
Back for another year is “The World’s Largest Vampire Stake,” standing at a massive 8 feet. Louisville Slugger says the stake was created in the factory and “would make Van Helsing jealous.”
Children five and under will get in for free, while tickets for anyone six and older start at $11 and go up to $18. Tickets can be purchased here.
Tours last around 60-90 minutes long and are available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
Hearst Television participates in various affiliate marketing programs, which means we may get paid commissions on editorially chosen products purchased through our links to retailer sites.
