LOUISVILLE, Ky. – In its third event of the fall season, Bellarmine men’s tennis is partnering with the Louisville men’s tennis program to host the 2022 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Regional Championships’ Ohio Valley tournament.
The ITA Regional Championships is a national tennis tournament comprised of the top players in the country. The five-day championship will be held at both schools from October 13-17, 2022, making it the first time this prestigious tournament is in Louisville.
"We are thrilled to host the ITA Regional Championship here in Louisville with the Cards," Bellarmine Head Coach Will Davis said. "This tournament is a prestigious nationwide event, showcasing the best student-athletes in tennis, and we are proud to welcome them to our court and compete alongside these talented teams."
Bellarmine University will host the Ohio Valley regional tournament at Eddie Weber Tennis Complex from October 13-14, and the University of Louisville will host from October 13-17 at Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.  This weekend’s event comes after a successful start to the fall for the Knights.  Bellarmine swept Saint Louis in singles and doubles in a hidden dual before racking up 18 wins last weekend at the Redbird Invitational.
