LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The NM State women’s basketball will return to the Pan American Center on November 4th as they get set to host the annual Crimson vs. White scrimmage.
The Scrimmage is set for Friday (11/4) at 6 p.m. Admission will be free and open to all fans looking to see the new team and coaching staff up close and in person.
Doors to the Pan American Center are scheduled to open at 5:00 p.m. on the night of the event with the action set to begin shortly after line-ups and introductions are announced at 6:00 p.m. Concession stands around the building will also be open for fans to purchase beverages and snacks during the scrimmage.
The 20-minute intrasquad scrimmage will feature the 2022-23 Aggies and team rosters will be available to help fans identify all of their favorite NM State players.
This will be the first time Aggie fans get to see the women’s basketball team in person since it was announced Jody Adams would be taking over the program as head coach last March.
The team returns nine players and two starters from last season (Soufia Inoussa and Tayelin Grays) along with six new faces that will be rocking the crimson and white this season.
This game will be a final tune up for the team before they head to Boulder, Colo., on November 7th to face Colorado for the start of the regular season. Following that the team will come home for two matches against NM Highlands and New Mexico.
