Cancer Support Community Arizona (CSCAZ) is hosting its annual Trunk or Treat/Dia de los Muertos event tonight, Oct. 28 with more than 25 trunks for the event this year. It promises to be a great opportunity for the community to come together like grandparents wanting to spend a Friday night with their grandchildren in a safe, outdoor environment this Halloween weekend.
From 6 to 8 p.m. tonight Arizonans of all ages are invited to commemorate Halloween and Dia de los Muertos at the historic main Cancer Support Community Arizona’s campus, located at 360 E. Palm Lane in Phoenix.
This annual free Trunk or Treat and Day of the Dead celebration is a safe and fun-filled evening outdoors and open to the public. All ages are invited to come dressed in their Halloween costumes and compete for prizes while enjoying a Trunk or Treat “walk-thru” experience featuring plenty of treats for hungry trick-or-treaters.
During the event, CSCAZ will also present an altar in honor of Dia de los Muertos, a holiday that reunites the living and dead.
There is no cost to attend the Trunk or Treat event or to participate in the contest. Those interested in attending must RSVP so that candy and prizes can be accounted for. To RSVP, click HERE.
