State Police Host Food Drive In Fairfield Tuesday – Fairfield, CT Patch

FAIRFIELD, CT — Troop G of the Connecticut State Police is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive until 1 p.m. on Tuesday at the Stop and Shop in Fairfield, 1160 Kings Highway Cutoff, according to organizers.
All donations will support Operation Hope of Fairfield, which will distribute the items to local families in need.
“We ask for your support and generosity to help make this thanksgiving food drive a success,” organizers said. “We look forward to seeing you all there!”
Patch has partnered with Feeding America since 2020 to help raise awareness of hunger in our local communities, a persistent national problem exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. Feeding America, which supports 200 food banks across the country, estimates that 1 in 8 people face hunger. This is a Patch social good project; Feeding America receives 100 percent of donations.
