Utah set to host an impressive list of 2024 unofficial visitors this weekend – 247Sports

With most of their recruiting for the 2023 cycle almost complete, focus has not only shifted to the transfer portal but to the future. With a weekend available for visitors, Utah will be welcoming a good collection of 2024 prospects, many of whom come from within the state but all are priorities for the Utes this next cycle.
Here is a rundown of the Utes visitors this weekend…
Isaac Wilson, QB
247Sports Rating: 90 four-star | 247Sports Ranking: No. 12 QB, No. 120 Overall
The four-star quarterback headlines the group. He picked up a Utah offer after Wilson’s first season worth of action for Corner Canyon in which he led the Chargers to a 10-2 record. During this junior campaign, Wilson completed 208/332 passes (62.7%) for 3,364 yards and 37 touchdowns to just 12 interceptions. He checks in at 6-foot, 170 pounds and holds offers from Arizona, BYU, Louisville, Miami, Oklahoma State, Oregon, and Oregon State among others. Utah has made a strong push for him and seem to be trending the right way in his recruitment.
Isaiah Garcia, OT
247Sports Rating: 90 four-star | 247Sports Ranking: No. 12 OT, No. 226 Overall
The 6-foot-5, 280 pounder is a promising tackle that has all the requisite athletic and physical tools for the next level. He has a great frame and build that will allow fill out while preserving his athleticism. Garcia holds offers from a handful of programs including Baylor, Miami, Stanford, and Washington among others. Though his recruitment has a number of great schools, the Utes have a very good relationship with Garcia and should be considered a favorite for him.
Faletau Satuala, Edge
247Sports Rating: 89 three-star | 247Sports Ranking: No. 25 ATH
One of the top defenders in the state of Utah in next year’s cycle. Satuala played this past season as a safety for Bountiful but received an offer from Utah to play defensive end. He’s a fantastic prospect with a great frame to add mass. He’s just a good football player that makes plays on both sides of the ball at his current level. His projection to the defensive end position is quite promising. Utah seems to be the early favorite here.
Roger Saleapaga, TE
247Sports Rating: 89 three-star | 247Sports Ranking: No. 17 TE
A very promising pass catcher with great size at 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds. At Orem this past season, he showcased just how electric he can be on the field. He hauled in 78 catches for 1287 yards and 14 touchdowns during his breakout junior season, earning a promising projection to the tight end position at the next level. Saleapaga has 15 offers, including three-quarters of the Pac-12, namely Oregon, UCLA, Washington, and Utah among others.
Davis Andrews, S
247Sports Ranking: 84 three-star | 247Sports Ranking: No. 107 ATH
At 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds, Andrews is a fantastic athlete that holds a very good outlook for the defensive side of the ball. Depending on development, he could end up at safety or linebacker. He’s hit five scholarship offers with Arizona, BYU, Colorado, Stanford, and Utah and is getting interest from others as well.
Gatlin Bair, WR
247Sports Rating: 90 four-star | 247Sports Ranking: No. 34 WR, No. 179 Overall
The dynamic athlete from Idaho has been recruited by Utah for quite some time. They were among the earliest involved with him in his recruitment. Bair is a very impressive athlete that could play on either side of the ball and be very effective, however, he seems to project best to the receiver position. Bair has been to Utah a number of times for unofficial visits. His recruitment has hit the national stage, which will make it tough but Utah is doing well.
Jeilani Davis, S
247Sports Rating: 87 three-star | 247Sports Ranking: No. 42 S
Coming from Los Angeles, Davis picked up an offer Utah last month and will be visiting this weekend. He’s a promising player that is starting to see his recruitment pick up steam. He made his presence felt on a very good Mater Dei squad. This weekend will provide Utah the opportunity to make a good first impression.
